THE VISION:
ALL ENCOMPASSING SPAS AND WELLNESS CENTERS AT SEA THAT GIVE
OUR GUESTS THE ABILITY TO RECONNECT WITH THEIR NATURAL DESIRE
TO BE HEALTHY, VIBRANT AND SELF-AWARE.
The maritime division of Steiner Leisure Limited operates onboard 16 cruise lines and operate on only 125 ships (YTD) that sail all over the world offering a complete range of services to enhance our guests’ beauty and well-being.
Our staple services include facials, massage and body therapies, acupuncture, fitness programs and hair and nail salon services and, in more recent years, have included barbering, to appeal to to our male demographic. We have also worked with GoSMILE, who has designed a 30-minute treatment exclusively for Steiner-operated spas-at-sea.
In 2007, Elemis developed new treatments which we launched onboard: the clinically trialed Tri-Enzyme Resurfacing Facial, the Oxydermy Facial (microdermabrasion and Pro-Collagen Marine Facial combined) and the new Cooling Hot Stone Body Facial. In 2008, maritime intends to expand in the medi-spa area of the market by adding Botox and Dermal Fillers to its menu.
The Steiner Training Academy in England is the life blood of our maritime division and recruits and trains approximately 2,100 spa, salon and fitness staff annually. This ensures our staff join our ships with complete knowledge of our standards and service protocols as well as the cruise line they will be
representing. Recruitment drives take place all over the world.
